The two Houston attorneys received many cases and never lost one. One time, they both faced each other in court. The case was all about a murder. One woman was suing the man who was the defendant for murdering her husband. Clara was the lawyer who defended the man with everything she had, while Mara was doing her best to send the man to prison.
In the long run, Clara discovered that the woman was her mother all along. She didn’t know what to do next when she found out that the man she was trying to defend was the person who murdered her father. The worst part is that Clara won the case. She wasn’t able to forgive herself for letting the man who murdered her father get away.
